About DTW
Desert TheatreWorks (DTW) stands as a cornerstone of the Coachella Valley community, dedicated to enriching lives through the transformative power of the performing arts. As a vital 501(c)(3) nonprofit community theater, DTW is committed to providing diverse and engaging cultural experiences for residents and visitors alike. At DTW, we believe in the power of live performance to inspire, educate, and unite our community. We are dedicated to creating transformative experiences that leave a lasting impact on individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
IPAC History
DTW began performances at IPAC in April of 2017 with Next to Normal. Since it’s inception with its first production in July 2013, DTW has presented 45 mainstage productions, 25 special events and received numerous accolades and awards for its productions. DTW productions this past year have been attended by more than 12,000 people, with over 25,000 visiting this 22,000 square foot building. Currently DTW has nearly 1000 subscribers with 55 % of those living in the Palm Springs-Palm Desert area.
